The big decision

Based on above criteria, within 14 days, B4PLASTICS decides if the challenge is accepted, in line with our track record of +80% hit-rate.

Upon a positive decision, a detailed quotation is made including Gantt Chart, probability of success, taskforce and outlook to scale and supply the unique material solution.

The fast-track to a new
material solution with B4Plastics:

  1. During typically 3 to 9 months time, the unique customized materials are designed and screened at the B4plastics laboratories by dedicated scientists
  2. The output is a designed material fulfilling the listed key requirements, synthezised and characterized up to 1 kg.
  3. A scalable protocol and favorable raw materials position give the outlook for upscaling.
  1. In the B4PLASTICS pilot facilities, multi-kg samples are produced in an industrial environment. Typical quantities are between 1 and 100-kg.
  2. Sample material is optimized for validation and certification via prototyping in the final products.
  1. Material cost at multi-ton scale is calculated precisely, based on
    • B4PLASTICS in-house production.
    • Production in facilities at third parties (security of supply as back-up for unique products).
  2. A Supply Agreement secures the supply in a long-term relationship.
