During an intake session, we identify and prioritize the key requirements for your oligomeric or polymeric material. These requirements are grouped into:

The fast-track to
a new material solution with B4Plastics.

The material will pass through three project stages. From designing and screening the material to scaling and supplying the material. B4Plastics assists in all production stages.

Screen

From concept to commercial supply, your material advances through three carefully managed development stages.

B4Plastics is your partner throughout the journey, supporting every step from design and screening to scale-up and production.

Scale

Using our pilot-scale production facilities, B4Plastics manufactures multi-kilogram material batches (1–100 kg) in an industrial environment.

The resulting materials are tailored for prototyping, validation, and certification, allowing you to evaluate performance in real-world applications before scaling up.

Supply

The cost of producing materials at multi-ton scale is carefully assessed using both B4Plastics’ internal production data and costs from selected third-party manufacturing partners. These partners strengthen supply chain resilience and provide backup production capacity for specialized materials.

To ensure long-term availability and supply security, a Supply Agreement is established between B4Plastics and the customer.

Acceptance criteria for B4Plastics:

Based on selected criteria, within 14 days, B4Plastics decides if the challenge is accepted, in line with our track record of +80% hit-rate.
Upon a positive decision, a detailed quotation is made including Gantt Chart, probability of success, taskforce and outlook to scale and supply the unique material solution.
